Biodiversity

The planting is extremely varied and dense. The Park ia nourishing and protecting habitat for native Flora and Fauna with a surprisingly high biodiversity rate. We like to see the Pocket Park as a Green Infrastructure stepping stone, if there were more of them around Dublin, it would increase the biodiversity of the city as well as shop people how many different species can flower and flourish on a small left over space. Entomologist Nessa Darcy has conducted several insect surveys with the school children. See here for more information.Link to be installed.
